Case I：Solving Quality Problems
Module manufacture L received customer complaint about a weird failure on the module. It was never seen and internal invesitateion could not find the root cause.
Our consultant received the photograph of the failed module, and assumed several root causes based on professional judgement. Then narrow the scope down to two possibilities. Through experiments and tests, the root cause was finally confirmed.
Under the assistance of contants, the root cause was confirmed in a short time, and the prevention actions were proposed by the consultants. Company L's customer was very satisfied with the professional reply in such a short time. Although the complaint happened, the customer was even more satisfied with company L's capability, and order continued after the matter.
Case II: Customer Complaint Dispute
System installer company C installed a system, unfortunately the module has serious delamination problem in one year. Company C ask for replacement of all the modules, however the moudle supplier did not take the responsibility. The supplier accused that it was caused by improper installation, not on module supplier's responsibility. The dispute finally goes into court proceeding.
After investigating te failure mode in this case, our consultant judge the root cause should be encapsulation problem. The litigation strategy was developed under the assistance of our consutant. Company collect more data and test report to support the argument.
With consultants' assistance, company C got enough supporting evidence and win the lawsuit with precise strategy.
